As a Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring our fire extinguishers are maintained and serviced to the highest standards. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting and servicing fire extinguishers brought into the shop and assisting our field technicians when necessary.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect fire extinguishers brought into the shop
- Perform service work on fire extinguishers provided by field technicians
- Recharge and hydrostatic pressure test various types of fire extinguishers
- Manage inventory for fire extinguisher parts, chemicals, nitrogen gas, and new inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Assist field technicians as needed
- Study relevant manuals and industry standards provided by the company
